Subject:
poorly spliced and censored
Selective audio, including fake sound of old film to cover/censor outvnews dialog and other speech that the splicer did not want the viewer to hear. A great example of trying to recreate history poorly. Next time use professional equiptment to create bogus news reels and take a few classes.

dutch trial in newsreel
The trial shown is commented on in Dutch, not German. Shown are the proceedings against the German commandant and guards of the infamous Amersfoort concentration camp, arrested after the war. The voice is the voice of the prosecutor, asking for the death penalty for the accused.

Raw Footage from the Post-War Period
Brief, poorly-preserved newsreel clip from the late 40s. The initial story is about a visit to the US by the president of pre-Castro Cuba. This is followed by a story about some sort of trial proceedings in Holland that is narrated entirely in German (or a language that sounds like German). It might be a war crimes proceeding, since they show some scenes of the concentration camp, but itÂs not really clear. This is followed by a story about the Hiss-Chambers hearings. These stories all have only partial soundtracks, and despite the title cards, this feels like unedited raw footage, especially the Hiss-Chambers section. Which makes it more interesting than it might otherwise be.
